Dog in, Cat out 🖤🤍

The cat and dog antics this morning, as with every morning - Lacy (cat) goes to scratch the couch and I yell "Lacey No", Lilly (dog) steps in to tell her off and the race starts around the chair, under the table behind the tv and so on till cat exits via cat door dog in tow… It's like her little game and so predictable now. A bit like black and white. 🖤🤍 Which is exactly what I was thinking about as this took place this morning because that's what we are featuring this week in the shop window and on display.

Black and White is sometimes just too easy, so it does have a place, that place when you know that it will just go together and you don"t even have to think about it. Perfect for the first day back at work after holidays, perfect for the statement when you need a little pick me up, and perfect to keep your secrets when you work in a messy environment or had too much fun on holiday… Clearly, a splash of colour with it gives that added pop and takes it to the next level. I love colour as you know, but I also love black and white because of its classic easy ability to just be.

On the Cat and Dog note… Have you ever read your children or grandchildren the book Dog in Cat out? It's also too easy and it's my life. My kids still joke about it.🐶🐱
