They want to shear with you... They have no choice but to wear merino... It's a magic fibre. Many of us can wear it, and for sure I'm a layer it on under everything girl, this season gives us a choice in awesome fashion merino for on top layers, and a couple of options brand and price-wise for under.  The merino possum is amazing too, so light, not bulky yet super comforting and warm. I’ve been thinking about Classic lately. What does classic mean... As June’s arrived the Mornings are now dark at 6… and as it becomes light there show all the shades of grey, we know of winter mornings.  They become white as the frost settles its bright white sheet on the ground, or the winter white of the fog as a duvet over us, we are heard to mutter “it’s a Classic Waikato Morning”.  It took my thoughts to what’s really classic?   There’s a reason the fire is so relaxing and cosy… It's the colours the flame gives off that warms us as much as the heat the wood gives off. I'd never had time before to notice that a tree in our garden went pink… A beautiful hot pink, and orange, at the same time... It actually goes just the same colours of a stunning Jumper I just couldn’t help myself and just had to order… It’s a colour I love, and I'm thankful that it is a colour of this season… But I’m more surprised I have a tree that’s representing that fact that these colours belong together, it's natural. I've got a thing for caramel... Salted and with chocolate, as the first choice, but this season also sees it in beautiful colour tones for clothing, forget black for a while and think warm caramel, soft snuggly knitwear, a pop of colour and just melt into the lovely feeling that a good warm caramel flavour brings. I know it's not everyone's tastes, but sometimes it's perfect as that little shot of inspiration and difference. As the Greens change to the next song, they sing… As I pruned the trees, I noticed the way the greens evolve into other most lovely shades of their former self… deep right, just as the branch gives me a wack to pay attention! I love Green, but it doesn’t always love me. Only one shade suits me, but that’s just it with Green, there is a green for everyone!
