For the love of a leo

Another circle of the sun sees August here again and this month boasts a birthday daily in my circle of love. 💕
Sunday saw us in New Plymouth celebrating an 80th for my special Aunty. It was filled with great catch ups and a few laughs - on mass we are quite a lot, and as descendants of a great yarn teller and a real lady, you can imagine the chaos the “Cooks” can bring to a Party, all be it a luncheon at Cobb & Co.
I did have an inlaw mutter at me, "just too many Cooks in that room” as he sloped off for a breather. Needless to say I came away with my “cup full” cuddling the new babies, and having reenactments of photos from decades past gave me a great perspective on another year. A year that's been tough for many of us.
There's always a new Season to celebrate… So as Spring is taking action around us, and I love that the days are creeping longer, and brighter, I also love the Spring/ Summer Vassalli which arrived last Wednesday. We spent Friday putting it in the shop and the spring colour is so welcome… a little has made it online to gabriels.co.nz but keep watching that space as we get more loaded…
