I've spent this week looking for silver linings- I'm on leave, It was meant to be a work trip supporting Morgan at the Oceanic Wakeboarding comp 5hrs up from Melbourne. 6 days at an event - that got cancelled just as we had checked in at Auckland airport…
1. We find ourselves on holiday - not working leave ⛅️ Moments after checking in Brad calls. Point Break just got shop jacked. A guy grabbed a rack of our basketball singlets and bolted out the door...
2. No one was hurt, and they didn't come thru the windows in the dark, we have great footage and the getaway cars number plate🌩 🌧
2.A Theres a bar at the airport that serves bubbly as by now I need it! 🥂😉
Yes, I'm looking for the silver linings…
We head down the great ocean road, find a sunny seaside spot and try to relax. After all, I packed clothes to work by a lake for a week.
I'm thanking the fact Vassalli pants, and jeans are versatile, that my Elm sweatshirt covers off a lot of options- I don't look like a country hick in a beach town… the CBD might have been a different story☀️🤣
4 days in a text from Brad- we got broken into last night- Im like get out thats not funny Brad! He’s right back at me - No its not funny its true. ⚡️ ⛈
Seriously I think 🤔 look for a silver lining don't panic.
3. - Back window not front ones… they couldn’t get in far due to the security and stole annoying things…

As it is thanksgiving week, the guts of my story isn’t to vent, its to give my thanks- Thanks for the support of our local retailers, a couple who have gone above and beyond to support the Point Break team, to my Gabriels and Midnight Ivy team for holding it together when I can’t, I so so so appreciate you ladies… and to our lovely customers for shopping in our shops, supporting us, and not nicking our stuff❣️🤭
