Good for the Soul

Imagine my absolute excitement when I discovered a tomato on my vine yesterday morning!

The battle I was waging with slugs has had me the looser, however it seems I've managed to talk the tomato into giving me fruit!

I've been enjoying my early morning moments in the veggie garden, even if my fingernails haven't.

It's good for the soul, and fingers crossed may now give us some rewards.

I've got the best ever tomato dish that I do during the summer, and always at Thanksgiving and Christmas. Ham and Turkey just aren’t the same without it… However this year Thanksgiving dinner was missing it, so fingers crossed by Christmas I'll have some to make it with from my own garden.

There's another sole that's also worth looking after, and mine have certainly been getting a walkabout in the shops. I've fallen in love with the Stella sneakers - "It's like walking on a hovercraft” a lady said the other day when trying them on, "I'm going to use that” I said, as I'm loving them too, they breath as they are fabric, and after lots of days standing I still have happy feet in them.

We also have the new Skechers arrived, and they are proving very popular. Lots of happy souls.

It's the countdown now until Christmas, and Cambridge Town is having a late night next Thursday 7 December so both Gabriels and Point Break will be open until 8pm. It feels like the festive season has snuck up on us, as it's only 4 Fridays to go counting this week!
