Memory Lane

The feeling you get when you open a chest that's been sitting untouched for at least 8 years and discover that's where those photo albums got to!

Then proceed to flick the afternoon away by stepping down memory lane one album at a time. 💕

Back in the day, I would purchase a new album at the start of the year, and as each family outing was snapped and developed, I'd put them straight in the book in order. No one got to look until it was done.

One thing that became clear is how our life revolved around the water. After laughing out loud Husband joined me over the albums.

Fashion was also a jaw dropper as the earlier years had us in stitches at some of the get up we got round in….I couldn’t resist sending some of the more notable ones to the friends featured, and we then spent time remembering the antics that were unfolding in the photos. Im actually smiling as I write this because it was great to connect and laugh at ourselves from these times. "Have you still got those shoes? You used to say I'm never throwing these away” I was reminded. I think Im proud, to say I do. I've kept a few pairs of shoes that were spectacular from certain fashions or weddings where I was in the party… saving them to haul out at a monumental moment - Like a wedding anniversary or important birthday. 🤣 Shoes I'll still fit, the dress…😳😅 not likely!!!

Watch out friends it's wedding anniversary season so I may just step out in the old favs…

On that note there's still stunning shoes for this summer at Gabriels, it's fun watching wedding parties and Mothers of, loving our selection… and walking out happy they’ve found the shoe that matches perfectly, and it's even comfortable said one bride.
